How do I pair with my partner?
Open the app and go to Settings → "Pair with your partner". You'll see a six-character pairing code. Send it to your partner; when they enter it in their own app, you'll be paired instantly and start sharing the data you configure in "What your partner sees."
What does the Lantern do?
The Lantern is a soft, wordless way to tell your partner you're in the mood. When you tap it on Home, a gentle glow appears on your partner's Home for 24 hours — no text, no notification. Either of you can put it out at any time by tapping the Lantern again.
Are my conversations with Nestor private?
Yes. Your conversations with Nestor are scoped to your account only. Your partner cannot see them. We use Anthropic's Claude API to generate Nestor's responses; Anthropic does not use API inputs to train their models. You can also inspect and delete anything Nestor remembers about you in Settings → Memory & context.
How do I cancel my ConvoNest+ subscription?
Cancel from the App Store (iOS) or Google Play Store (Android) — Settings → your name → Subscriptions → ConvoNest+ → Cancel. We can't cancel App Store or Play Store subscriptions on your behalf, but you'll keep access until the end of the billing period.
How do I delete my account?
Open the app → Settings → "Delete account", or visit our account deletion page, or email support@convonest.ai. We process all deletion requests within 30 days as described in our Privacy Policy.
What if Nestor is offline or not responding?
Nestor's responses come from our edge function calling Anthropic. If you see "Nestor's brain isn't reachable," it usually means a brief outage. Try again in a few minutes. If it persists, email us — including any error text helps.
I'm not getting push notifications.
Check three things: (1) your device's system notification settings for ConvoNest are enabled, (2) inside the app, Settings → Notifications is ON, and (3) you've actually signed in at least once on this device. New installs need to grant notification permission on first launch — if you tapped Don't Allow, you'll need to enable in system Settings. If notifications still don't arrive, email us with your account email and device model.
Is ConvoNest a substitute for couples therapy?
No. ConvoNest is a communication-improvement companion, not therapy or crisis support. If you or your partner are experiencing a mental-health crisis, relationship violence, or need professional therapeutic support, please contact a qualified professional or crisis hotline. In the U.S., call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, or 1-800-799-7233 for the National Domestic Violence Hotline. Nestor is designed to automatically surface these resources if it detects you're in crisis.
How do I send feedback?
We love feedback — really. Email support@convonest.ai with "Feedback" in the subject line, or open the app → Settings → Send feedback. Every message goes to a small team of humans, not a bot.
